    Help with algebra used to solve trig problems(solved)

    I'm ending up with this equation, but with no idea how the answer was achieved. Can someone help explain this to me? Thanks in advance.

    \frac{-\frac{1}{2}}{\frac{\sqrt{3}}{2}} = -\frac{1}{2} \cdot \frac{2}{\sqrt{3}} =-\frac{1}{\sqrt{3}}
