Can someone help me to solve a trigonometric function.To review this function in points

y=3sin(2x+π/4)

Solve for what?

Hello...When you say solve you need to give the function a value.

e.g. If you want to find where the function equals 1.5 then you would be solving 3sin(2x + π/4) = 1.5

Otherwise, you would just have a sketch of the function.

2.)0 of function
the period etc

My mistake sorry .I need a sketch of the function and you know extreme values of the function when it is growing

I haven't been clear i need a sketch of this function y=3sin(2x+π/4).I don't get how to know when it is growing, what period does it have extreme values .Thank you for your time

Use the derivative y', this gives you the function for were y is growing and decreasing. You also use the y' to calculate the extremevalues.
