Interpreting angles.
I am answering this physics question where i have to find the direction of the angular velocity counterclockwise from the north direction.
I have found the angular acceleration vector and got an angle of 45 degrees in the 2nd quadrant. Is this correct, counterclockwise from the north direction?
What if the vector was in the 3rd quadrant, would it mean that the angle is 135 degrees counterclockwise from the north direction?
