Thread: Unit Circle Stuff

I am having a lot of trouble with this. Can anyone please help me?

Describe each of the following properties of the graph of the Cosine Function, f() = cos() and relate the property to the unit circle definition of cosine.

Amplitude
Period
Domain
Range
x-intercepts

Why are you asking this question? If you do not know anything about the "unit circle", why would you be doing a problem like this? And if you do, why have you made not attempt at answering at least some of these yourself?

It's an extra credit assignment. My class doesn't have to do the trigonometry lessions but my teacher is giving out extra credit if you answer one of his "questions" involving trigonometry. I could use the extra credit but since I've never learned anything like this, I can't for the life of me figure out how to answer this.
