To determine (sec(@) + tan(@)), try multiplying both sides by (sec(@) + tan(@)).

Once you know the value of (sec(@) + tan(@)), then, since you've started with the value of (sec(@) - tan(@)) (it's 1/3), you can then solve simultaneous equations to find the individual values for sec(@) and tan(@).
