1. ## Simplifying TRIG expressions

use fundamental identities to simplify:
(tanx / cscx) + (sinx / tanx)

I got stuck after making the denominators the same. I dont know which one to undo or cancel.

2. ## Re: Simplifying TRIG expressions

I'd start by converting everything to sines and cosines...

3. ## Re: Simplifying TRIG expressions

ok. i got stuck again
[tan2x + tanx] / [sinx/cos2x]

what do i do next?

Is that all in terms of sines and cosines?

5. ## Re: Simplifying TRIG expressions

I've try many ways and couldn't get anywhere. can you explain to me what's the second step is?
