do you mean sin(x), cos(x), or the trig function of some other variable?

how about some parentheses to make your post more clear to those attempting to interpret what exactly is the numerator and denominator?

(1 + sin(x) + cos(x)) / (1 - sin(x) + cos(x)) = (1 + sin(x))/ (cos(x))
