    Either 1/((cos(x))^2) or 1 + (tan(x))^2.

    Hello, bigtumbler!

    How do I input sec^2 into my calculator? I have a fx-82 calculator.

    I'm not familiar with FX-82, but here's a generic routine.

    \text{Press }\boxed{\cos}}\;\;\boxed{\text{your angle}}\;\;\boxed{)}\;\;\boxed{x^{-1}}\;\; \boxed{x^2}
