Thread: Help with Trigonometry CAST Diagram?? PLEASE

I dont know how to do in graph method so if you explain me in CAST that it would be helpful.

what do you mean by "CAST" ???

S A It's a way of remembering which of the trig functions are positive in each quadrant. eg in 4th quadrant Tan is positive and Sine and Cosine are negative.

Sorry, that of course should have said in 3rd quadrant Tan is positive.

no, I do not see a picture.

What about now?

375 is 15 degrees into the first quadrant second time round so cos375 is positive and equal to cos15. So 15 is an answer to the question. Similarly if 735 had come up as an answer it would mean 15 (which is in the required range) is again an answer.
