    Solving Hyperbolic Equations for t

    Hi

    can you help me to find the value of t ????

    in each of the following:

    1)
    (15696/t)+1=cosh(47088/t)


    2)
    (5886/t)+1=cosh(17660/t)


    I need only the values of t
    because I working in a Statics project
    not Math.
    I have tried to solve it by using Matlab but i couldn't

    In general, the solution to an equation that involves x both "inside" and "outside" a transcendental function, such as a trig function, exponential, logarithm, or hyperbolic function, cannot be solved in terms of the usual functions. Since the hyperbolic functions are defined in terms of exponentials, you might be able to solve this using the "Lambert W function" which is defined as the inverse function to f(x)= xe^x.
