    help with hw-trig functions and values

    hey, I'm new so I hope I am doing this right.

    I missed some class so I'm kind of unsure how to solve some problems that are due tomorrow.

    1) csc (pie/3) and I have to find the exact value. I wasn't sure if I just put that all under 1 and use sin or what.

    2) sin(-300 degrees)...I got square root 3/2...I have no idea if that's correct

    3) sec (-510 degrees)

    thanks for any help!

    csc here is short for cosecant. it is defined as follows.

    \csc x = \frac {1}{\sin x}

    thus, \csc \frac {\pi}3 = \frac 1{\sin \frac {\pi}3}

    now continue

    @ zerostumbleine33, and by the way, it is spelt "pi"
