# Math Help - Solve a Triangle

1. ## Solve a Triangle

Please Solve the triangle ABC when

a = 7.5

b = 12,

and A = 35 degrees

Thank You, I don't know what to do.

First you need to DRAW a triangle with angle A across from side A.

Now use the Law of sines to find the missing sides of the triagnle.

Thats all? .

I do not understand your question. Did you use the law of sines. If so that is all. Did you look at the example in the link. They do an almost identical problem.

I don't know what you mean by "Solve the triangle" but I'm guessing you need to find the missing sides and angles?

1. Use the sine law to find angle B
2. Find angle C (hint: all angles in a triangle add up to 180 degrees)
3. Use the sine law again to find side c

Note the convention that sides a, b and c are opposite to angles A, B and C respectively
