Find the 5 other Trigonometric Function Values

Hey guys, i'm new here and i am in desperate need of assistance with my Trig class.

I am in college taking 2 math's Calculus and Trig, and my Calc, teacher is great. However, my Trig teacher sucks. She rushes along, doesn't stop to explain anything. Trig is pretty much a review for me, but i'm at a point where i have no idea what todo, so if anyone can assist me, that would be awesome. Thank you.

Problem: Assume the angle is an acute angle

Given that Cos angle = 0.7, find the other 5 trigonometric function values for angle.

I am not looking for just the answer. I am looking for a detailed step by step of the process used to solve.

I don't really know what you're asking, but try this.

You have $\displaystyle \displaystyle \cos \theta = \frac{0.7}{1}$ so 0.7 and 1 are the adjacent and hypotenuse sides of a right angle triangle. What would the other side be? Once found you can put $\displaystyle \theta $ in terms of sin and tan.

hey thanks for replying...but i'm a little confused still...so how would i find the other sides?

if Cos 0 = 0.7/ 1 and thats the adj. and hyp. sides...what is the opposite side?

Well the opposite side x would be found by solving $\displaystyle 1^2 = 0.7^2+x^2$
