Finding the sides of a right triangle
This is my first post and I hope it is not too simple. How do you find the sides of a right triangle when you know the hypotenuse (48") and the three angles (90 a/b, 11.25 a/h, 78.75 b/h)? I need to find the lengths of a and b. Thank you for any assistance. Peace and God bless.
Re: Finding the sides of a right triangle
you can use basic trigonometric ratios
b=hcos78.75 and a=hsin78.75
Re: Finding the sides of a right triangle
What do you mean with hypotenuse (48''), the hypotenuse is a side, not an angle?

" can be used as a measure of length (inches)
