    Circling aeroplane.

    Hi i have been having trouble solving this for a while any one want a crack ? working appreciated so i can understand how to solve it.

    A airplane is circling an airport for quater of an hour travling 256km/ph, it is constantly 14km away form the airport. calculate angle plane turned about airport during the quater of an hour.

    you'll need these two equations ...

    \omega = \frac{v}{r}

    \Delta \theta = \omega \cdot t

    1st calculate distance = 256 / 4
    = 64 km

    now angle = distance / radius ( in radians )
