    Trig equations help

    Hi,
    I am stuck with the trig equation cot^2x = cosecx, range 0 to 360

    The answer should be 38.2, 141.9.

    I know that cot = 1/tan and cosec = 1/cos, but keep having problems after this.

    Is there any general advice for solving these type of equations, particularly involving cot, sec and cosec. I keep getting stuck with the fractioned form of the equation ie 1/sin.

    Any help would be much appreciated,

    Hint: \displaystyle 1 + \cot^2{x} \equiv \csc^2{x}...
