    Solving trig equations

    Got stuck on this one.

    If tan2x = -24/7, find the values of sinx and cosx

    \tan 2x = \frac{\sin 2x}{\cos 2x} = \frac{-24}{7}

    and \sin^22x+\cos^22x=1

    Oh now I feel silly lol, I think after doing the first 30 of 50 homework questions of these the brain starts to slip a little. Thanks!
