Thread: how to generate new formulas?

but not with some rote learning but with some kind of idea...

e.g.

I have given the formula degree=rad*180(degree)/pi -> transform from rad to degree...

How you can generate a new formula to transform from degree to ran in a mathematical way...

e.g. to come with the

rad=degree*pi/180(degree)

Have you considered using algebra?

"elementary algebra", but that will tell you about common algebra, not specifically your question. Your question is just an application of elementary algebra, specifically rearranging a formula.
