Graphs of trigonometric Functions

Howdy,

I've been given a question about a trigonometric graph and I can't make sense of it so if you can help I will massage your face*

Question A states 'Plot the graph for Y = sinX for -2π ≤ x ≤ 2π'. So I went to Wolfram Alpha and plotted it here.

But the second question states 'Describe the curve in terms of its amplitude and period' and beyond saying it goes up and down I have no idea what I should be writing.

That depends on the definition of amplitude, but most likely it's the biggest absolute value of the function, i.e., 1. For the period, you can see that it is 2π; sin(x + 2π) = sin x, i.e., the function repeats itself every 2π units.
