    solve triagle

    should i use the 45 45 90 or law of sines?????


    solve triangle ABC,, where A = 45 deg, a = 7 sqrt 2, b = 7

    Law of sines.

    I don't think this is a 45, 45, 90 degree triangle.

    The best, and safest option is to use the law of sines instead of assuming it's a 45, 45, 90 degree triangle.

    Note that this is an ambigious case triangle, it can have 2 solutions.
