    cos[(πt)/τ] = cos[πt/βτ]

The general solution of the above equation is

    [(πt)/τ] = 2nπ + [πt/βτ] οr

    [(πt)/τ] = 2nπ - [πt/βτ]

Simplify the equations and find the value of t.
