The question is: How many revolutions will a car wheel of diameter 30 in. make as the car travels a distance of one mile?
I'm stumped on this one. I've tried plugging in what I have into a few different equations, but it doesn't seem like I have enough information to solve it. (Headbang) Thanks very much for the help.

If the diameter is 30 inches then the circumference is
$\displaystyle C = 30\pi \approx 94.2477$ inches.
How many of these in a mile?

ok 5280x12= 63360 inches in a mile. Then 63360 / 94.2477 = approx. 672.27 revolutions? Is that correct?
