# Math Help - Sinusoidal function

1. ## Sinusoidal function

Hi all,

New to the forum, hope i posted this in the correct place.

Got a problem that a question that im struggling to answer:

draw a waveform over 1 cycle.
indicate clearly the amplitude, periodic time, and frequency of the waveform.

v = Vsinωt

V = 10
ω = 30pi

I understand that V is the amplitude of the wave.
But get confused with the whole omega = 30pi. Mostly because I find pi-radians hard to understand.

Any help would be much appreciated!!

Thanks,
Chris

If the frequency is $f$ hertz then your signal would be:

$v(t)=V\sin(2\pi f t)$

what you have is:

$
v(t)=V\sin(\omega t)$

so: $f=\omega/(2\pi)$
