# Thread: Simple Problem

1. ## Simple Problem

Well, I've just started trig last week, and I'm having a little bit of an issue here.

Find the measure of each angle to the nearest degree.
ex. $\sin(A)=.7586$
$A = 49\deg$
(Don't know if deg means degree..)

Anyway, the problem is
$\sin(A)=.8365$
Find A

Please help me solve.

Thank you for all that contribute.

deg does mean degree.

Direct evaluation of $\arcsin(0.8365)$ using a calculator should suffice.

Note that arcsin may be "inv sin" or "sin^-1" on your calculator

3. Thank you :P
