Thread: Converting Polar equations to cartesian

I have a project in my trig class and I wanted to use r = cos(12theta), but my teacher told me that I wasn't allowed because it was too complicated to convert. I want to understand how I can convert this, Can someone please hep me?

Wow!What great advice! Lets say I did it, but don't.I hope living by that philosophy gets you far in life, but I will continue to challenge myself and attempt to do this, so If you could either kindly help me or not post. Thanks.
