Here are the questions 2Lagit2Quit meant to post

    1+sin x = 2sec(squared)x + 2sec x tan x-1
    1-sin x

    cos x + sin x = sec(squared) x-tan(squared)x
    sec x csc x
Here's the solution to the first:

    Tips

Here's how to approach these problems:

Step 1: Start working on the most complicated side, that gives you more options to change stuff

Step 2: Change everything to sine and cosine, students are most familiar with these and so they can see connections easier

Step 3: If you can't make one side look like the other, stop and start working on the other side to bring it to where you left off from the first side (I illustrated this technique in the last problem, it probably wasn't necessary though, but just wanted to show you)

Here are the rest of the problems

    csc(squared)x - cos(squared)x csc(squared)x = 1

    1 + 1 = 2sec(squared)x
    1-sin x 1+ sin x

    tan x + sin x = cot x + sec x csc x
    1 + cos x 1-cos x
