NYS Math B regents question
On a monitor, the graphs of two impulses are recorded on the same screen,where 0 degress <=x<=360 degrees. The impulses are given by the followingequations:y=2sin^2 xy=1-sinxFind all values of x, in degrees, for which the two impulses meet in theinterval 0 degress <=x<=360 degrees. Solve in algebraically. :confused: Thanks so much :)

2sin^2 x = 1-sin x

2sin^2 x + sin x -1 =0

(2sin x -1)(sin x +1) = 0

1)2sin x - 1 thus , sin x = 1/2 thus, x=30, 150

2)sin x +1 =0 thus, sin x = -1 thus, x=270
