Using coolubi's example.

$\displaystyle

a^2+b^2=c^2$

$\displaystyle 22^2=20^2+x^2 $

$\displaystyle x=\sqrt{22^2-20^2}$

$\displaystyle x=2\sqrt{21}$

$\displaystyle 30-x=k$

$\displaystyle 30-2\sqrt{21}=20.84$
