    Trig Homework help.

    Consider the function below. y = sin(x) + √3cos(x)
    (a) Write the function in the form y = A sin(x + C).

    (b)
    Amplitude = ?
    Phase Shift = ?

    Use the R-formulae

    Asinx+Bcosx = R[sin(\theta+\alpha)]

    Where R = A^2+B^2 and \alpha=tan(\frac{B}{A})
