I have like 8 problems (out of I think 70) I don't get. Some explanations would be lovely! If you could help with any I would appreciate that so much!

1.) Solve 5x^2+3x-4=0 by completing the square

2.) Find the number of complex roots of . Then find the roots and graph the related function.

3.) Find the inner product and tell whether the vectors are perpendicular. ,

4.) If q is between and find .

5.) Find the value of tanArccos.

6.) Find the area of a sector with a central angle of and a radius of 18.8 m. Round to the nearest tenth.

7.) For a circle of radius 9 feet, find the arc length s subtended by a central angle of

8.) Use the rational-root theorem to find the roots of .

I really need help with this. I feel like this guy ---> right about now.

2. Not all of this is trigonometry and some of your questions are missing parts.

$5x^2+3x-4=0$

$x^2 + \frac{3}{5}x - \frac{4}{5} = 0$

$x^2 + \frac{3}{5}x + \left(\frac{3}{10}\right)^2 - \left(\frac{3}{10}\right)^2 - \frac{4}{5} = 0$

$\left(x + \frac{3}{10}\right)^2 - \frac{9}{100} - \frac{80}{100} = 0$

$\left(x + \frac{3}{10}\right)^2 - \frac{89}{100} = 0$

$\left(x + \frac{3}{10}\right)^2 = \frac{89}{100}$

$x + \frac{3}{10} = \pm \frac{\sqrt{89}}{10}$

$x = -\frac{3}{10} \pm \frac{\sqrt{89}}{10}$.

4. Please don't post more than two questions in a thread. Otherwise the thread can get convoluted and difficult to follow. It is better for forum organization and better for you to get your questions answered in a more timely manner if you start new threads as necessary for remaining questions. eg. If you have five questions, post two of them in two threads and start a new thread for the remaining one etc.

And if the question has more than two parts to it, it is best to post only that question and its parts in the thread and start a new thread for other questions.
