1. ## Nid help in Diagram and Solution :(

1.From the top of a 90m high building, it is observed that the top of another building makes a 40degree angle of depression. If the two buildings are 60m apart, how tall is the other building

2. From the top of a 130m high building, the angle of depression of Jenny and Johnny on the ground were found to be 34degree,16 minutes and 54degree,12 minutes, respectively. Find the distance between them.

3. From a plane 2,000m above sea level, the pilot observes two ships in line due west. The angles of depression of the two ships are 60degree and 70degree. How far apart are the ships?

4.A television antenna is situated atop a hill. From a point 200m from the base of the cliff, the angle of elevation of the top of the antenna is 80degree. the angle of elevation of the bottom of the antenna from the same point is 75degree. How tall is the antenna?

5. A 40cm long pendulum is moved 45degree from the vertical. How far did the tip of the pendulum rise?

6.Nuel travels due north from his house for 100km, then 70m due west and them 60 kim due north, then he stops, How far is he from the house?

7. From the 3rd floor of a school building, one can see the top of a house at an angle of elevation of 40degree. If the place of observation is 20m above the ground and 50m from the house, how high is the house?

8.How long is the midline of an isosceles right triangle when its legs are 20cm long?

those are the math problems that makes me stock with my assignment
I having a hard time making diagrams can some1 please help me ? i don't know how to draw those problems... really nid help...

2. ## Ill help but don´t you have any clue on how to solve anyting here?

Here is a tip for the first one.
1.From the top of a 90m high building, it is observed that the top of another building makes a 40degree angle of depression. If the two buildings are 60m apart, how tall is the other building

Use $tan(40deg) = 60/x$ and now you should be able to finish that one, post some work and I´ll help

3. Hello, sherwin156!

#6 requires nothing fancy . . . Did you make a sketch?

6. Nuel travels due north from his house for 100 km, then 70 m due west
and then 60 kim due north, then he stops.
How far is he from the house?
Code:
    D * - - - - + E
|. :
60 | . :
| . :
C * - . - - *B
70. |
. |
. | 100
. |
.|
* A

He starts at $A$, goes 100 km north to $B,$
. . then goes 70 km west to $C,$
. . and goes 60 km north to $D.$

In right triangle $DEA\!:\;DE\,=\,70,\;EA \,=\,160$

Can you find its hypotenuse?

4. uh thx for the help.... i get it is hypotenuse = 174.64?

my really problem is making diagram w/ those problem i'm not that very good in english i can't understand those problems >.<
