    A short trig question

    Hi,

    Is (a^2 cos^2 b) + (a^2 sin^2 b) = a^2 ?

    I'm guessing though.

    Thanks for the help.

    a^2\cos^2{b} +a^2\sin^2{b} = a^2

    a^2(\cos^2{b} + \sin^2{b}) = a^2

    a^2(1)= a^2
