    Trig Question

    Hi
    I am having trouble understanding what i am meant to do in the following question:

    Find all values of x between 0 and 2\pi for which
    sin x =0.6

    Use the symmetry of the unit circle: x = \sin^{-1} 0.6 and x = \pi - \sin^{-1} 0.6.

    Of course. See my answer!

    However, if you want a value of \sin^{-1} 0.6 then of course you will have to use a calculator to get a decimal approximation.

    Once you have gotten you approximation which will be in degrees you need to convert your degrees to radians using:

    Degrees X Pi/180

    Then you'll need to write your notation.
