    trig equation from 0<t<2pi

    solve 3sin(2t+1) = -0.8142 from 0<t<2pi

    please show working as I need to know how these answers where found

    1.21 2.51 4.35 5.65

    I dont really understand what 3sin(2t+1) means

    HI

    The range required is 0<t<2\pi\Rightarrow 0<2t<4\pi

    3\sin (2t+1)=-0.8142

    2t+1=3.416 , 6.008 , 6.558 , 9.15 (all in radians)

    Since sin is negative here , so t would be in the 3rd and fourth quadrant . I am sure you know this .

    THen now , just do the algebra or in other words solve for t and you would get the answers .
