Hi everyone,
I wondered if anyone could help me with the following question:
What is the relationship between the graphs of f(x) and f(cx), where c is a constant?
Thanks a lot![]()
This has no obvious connection to trigonometry. Is f(x) meant to be a trig function?
The general relationship is that the graph of y = f(cx) is a dilation of the graph of y = f(x) in the horizontal direction by a factor of 1/c. If f(x) is a trig function then the link between c and period might also be relevant.
