    Question trig

    Find all values of theta in the interval 0<theta<360 that satisfy the equation.

    3 tan^2 theta - 1=0

    If you move the 1 over to the right of your equation, divide by 3 and then square root you get \tan{\theta} = \frac{\pm1}{\sqrt{3}}.
