# Simplifying Trig expression

Simplifying Trig expression
Hi guys,

It's been a while since I've taken a math class in a while so please forgive my lack of knowledge for now. I can't figure out how to solve it from websites so I thought I'd get some help from the pros :).

Can you please show me how to simplify:

sin2X(1 + tan2X)...the x's are exponents

$sin^2{x}(1+tan^2{x}) = \sin^2{x} \cdot \sec^2{x} = \tan^2{x}$
