Math Help - Sin2x=1/2

    Sin2x=1/2

    Sin2x=1/2

    x = pi/12, 11pi/12

    That is all i have come up with but i think there are two other values for x

    There are two more -- add \pi to the solutions you have to generate the others.

    Its "technically" 2\pi, but you had already divided your answers by 2 - hence the reason you add \pi instead.

    see the graph, it crosses the x-axis 4 times, x is in radians. But would it be values in the first quadrant and the second quadrant be the valid answer? Since it is positive, just as noted above? x = pi/12, 11pi/12. Period is pi.
