1. ## Sin2x=1/2

Sin2x=1/2

x = pi/12, 11pi/12

That is all i have come up with but i think there are two other values for x

There are two more -- add $\pi$ to the solutions you have to generate the others.

why is it that i don't add 2 $\pi$ to the solutions, i mean why do I add $\pi$

Its "technically" $2\pi$, but you had already divided your answers by 2 - hence the reason you add $\pi$ instead.

5. Ah thanks. I guess finding the solutions and dividing last works

6. see the graph, it crosses the x-axis 4 times, x is in radians. But would it be values in the first quadrant and the second quadrant be the valid answer? Since it is positive, just as noted above? x = pi/12, 11pi/12. Period is pi.
