I'm trying to find the frequency of the modal class..

given the following data ,find the modal class:
42 43 45 46 46 46 46 49
50 50 51 52 52 54 55 56 56 56 58 58 58 59 59
60 64 66 68 68
73 75 79

I guess the mode is 46 because it's the value that is repeated more times , but I don't know how to get the frequency of the modal class. can someone help me? thanks

The frequency expresses the number of times something occurs. So the frequency of 46 appearing in your data set is 4.

yes I know that. I'm looking for the frequency of the modal class ; I'm not sure whether I have to divide the data into classes or not

Given how the data is presented, I'd suggest that the modal class is the class 50 - 59.
