    Wink approximation

    X is hyp(1000, 50, 0.4)
    Y is Po(16) and Z is Po(3)
    X, Y and Z is independent.

    a) which approximation have 2X-Y-Z=?

    b) determen with following of a) one approximation value of k so
    P(2X-Y > Z+k)=90% ?

What distribution do you think hyp(1000,50,0.4) represents?

(I will assume Po(n) represents the Poisson distribution with mean n)
