    throwing dice

    X: numbers of the throws until you get the first 6 with a normal dice.

    a)
    ΩX= ?
    b) P(X=4)=?
    c) PX(x)=?
    d) P(3<X<or =7)=?

    By ΩX do you mean the expectation (or mean) of X, usually denoted here by E(X)?
