Two friends are playing a board game. They want to determine who gets to go first. Explain how each situation can be made fair.

1.) They roll a number cube once.
2.) They both pick one number from a hat that contains the numbers 1 through 10.
3.) They flick a spinner once

Uh.
1) A person rolls. If it's even, he goes first. If it's odd, the other guy does.

2) Whoever picks the higher number goes first.

3) A person flicks the spinner. If it's, say, pointing more north than south, then he goes first. If it's pointing more south than north, then the other guy goes first. If it's exactly neither (then it's either pointing straight east or west), east goes to the spinner, west goes to the other guy.

yeah for both
