Permutation or Combination

Can someone please tell me if this is a Permutation or Combination problem.

How many groups of three kittens can you choose from a litter of seven?

If its a combination that it would be 7!/3!4! which equals 35 right?
If its a permutation that it would be 7! right?

Now it shall be 7P3=7!/4!
The 4 comes from 7-3.

But which type of problem is it a combination or a permutation?

It is a combination.
When you choose 3 cats it makes no difference whether you select 1 black, 1 brown and 1 green cat. Or 1 brown 1 gree and 1 black is the same. See?
Order is irrelevant, you will be assimilated.
