What are the outcome probabilities for craps?

(Win on the first roll? (roll 7 or 11) )

(Lose on the first roll? (roll 2, 3, or 12 ) )

(Win after 'x' amount of rolls?)

(Lose after 'x' amount of rolls?)

Well, I got the ones winning and losing on the first roll, but I'm not sure how to find the ones after 'x' amount of rolls.

Win = 8/36

Lose = 4/36

Continue = 24/36

That's what I got. :P But I dunno how to find the probability of winning or losing after getting a "continue." - May 27th 2009, 02:47 PMawkward
You can find this problem discussed here: Craps -- from Wolfram MathWorld

(However, the discussion is not in terms of the number of rolls required but in terms of the probability of winning if, for example, the first roll is a 4.)
