Thread: Probability Texas-Holdem

In Texas Hold-em you are dealt the ace and ten of diamonds. What is the probability you will get a flush? (All diamonds). What is the probability you will get a straight? (ten, jack, queen, king, ace of any suit).

This question needs some more information. By "get" do you mean by the river or on some other street? Flushes are easy enough to calculate buts straights are much more difficult because there are many different straight combinations where you use both your cards, one of your cards or none of your cards. Can you be more specific?
