# Math Help - permutation problem 3

1. ## permutation problem 3

hey guys, need some help with this problem. this is one of four permutation problems that our teacher gave us to solve but haven't really figured it out, plus i was sick so i missed the lecture..

3) Repetitions not allowed, how many 3 digit nos. can be formed from the digits 0,1,2,3,4,5?

thanks for the help. we've been given all the basic formula for permutations but I'm at a loss at how to apply them still.

$^6P_3$
There are total 6 digits, we just want to choose 3 of them and then arrange them.

Do you really refer to your books and try to learn it by yourself?
This question can be found in any math books I think, because it is a very basic concept for permutation and combination.
Sometimes, we can't depend 100% to our lecturers, sometimes we gave to be independent.
