Need to check if these 2 probability Card Questions are right. For POKER LOVERS
There are 2 questions and I think I have them figured out I just want to make sure I got them right. They are multiple choice.
#1 One ard is drawn from a shuffled feck. Find the probability that the selected card is an Ace or a Queen. (52 cards in a deck, 4 aces and 4 queens in 1 deck)
A - 17/52
B - 13/52
C - 8/52
D - 4/52
E - None of the above
I am pretty sure this one is 8/52 but a check or anything would be greatly appreciated.
#2 Two cards are drawn from a shuffled deck. Find the probability that both the selected cards are from the set (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10)
(52 cards in a deck, each of the 9 cards have 4 suites thus 36 cards)
A -C(36,2)/C(52,2)
B - C(40,2)/C(52,2)
C - C(32,2)/C(52,2)
D - C(28,2)/C(52,2)
E - none of the above
I think the answer here is A but I am not positive. Once again any input would be great, Thanks everyone.
