I have the following data sets

Data 1: 1.2, 1.3, 1.3, 1.5, 1.6, 1.7, 1.8
Data 2: 1.8, 1.8, 1.9, 2.1, 2.2, 2.5

My question is according to my assignment "Do a Wilcoxin signed-rank test on the data. What do you conclude?"

I'm having problems because looking at my tables I see several different Wilcoxin tables and since this material is in my notes and not the text book (we don't cover non-parameterics typically) I'm confused. I guess I took bad notes that day.

I believe the Alpha should be set to .05. These are likely independant samples as they aren't matched. It also doesn't look like we are comparing it to a predetermined median.

Am I ranking all of the data or just the sets?

I have a chart with a interval range, once the ranks are assigned. I don't know whether to use it or just calculate the critical value? I have the formula for that. I'm a bit confused hopefully you guys can help.
