    Talking Question on Variance

HI friends! I have a quick question on variance the answer seems straight forward to me but I thought i'd double check with the pros here!

If a population of N = 10 scores has a mean of 30, a mode of 27, and a standard deviation of 5, what does the variance equal?

variance = the standard deviation squared

    so variance = 25.

Am i correct? or did i miss something and mess up!

Look forward to your replies and help!
