    Exclamation 2 simple questions.....

I have 2 questions - fairly straight forward, but the choices are making it difficult for me. Here we go:
    1. The Research process and scientific method are both the same thing and include the following step regardless of scientific discipline.
    a. deductive, inductive, explanatory, and descriptive research.
    b. measures of validity and reliability, sample selection, and induction of hypothesis.
    c. constructing data arrays, frequency distributions, and graphs.
    d. statement of the problem, development of a research design, data collection, data analysis, presentation of research results.

    I went with option d.

    2. The difference between a constant and a variable is, a constant is:
    a. Usually the dependent variable, while a variable is usually the independent variable.
    b. usually the independent variable, while a variable is the dependent variable.
    c. a characteristic that all units of all population have with no variation, while a variable is a characteristic that varies throughout the population.
    d. only found in a population while a variable is found only in a sample.

i went with option c on this one.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Smile I agree

I agree with your choice on answer one, this site supports your choice (sort of)

for question 2 i would choose B. The constant is independent of other variables, and the variable is dependent on other variables
    this supports my thoughts

I hope this helps you in some way

    yup.

for one.. it seems like the right answer.

on #2 am not sure. B seems like a right fit and so does C. A and D can be ruled out easily.

tough call. am gonna wait till i get a few more responses and then proceed.

    thanks for the input though!
